Pittsburgh

I took a quick two-day trip to Pittsburgh. During a few hours off on Saturday afternoon I went into downtown around Market Square. The scenic route back to the hotel took me out to Mt. Lebanon for a photo moment at my mother’s and grandparents’ former home.

Glenwood Ave Arts Fest

The seventh annual Fest once again fills the cobblestone streets of the Glenwood Ave Arts District in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood with arts, crafts, kids activities, food & drink, and music on 3 stages. Morseland and The Morse Theatre are sponsoring the mainstage located on W. Morse Ave at N. Greenview Ave.

2008 Monte Shelton Rally

This was the 20th running of the Monte Shelton Northwest Classic Motorcar Rallye. It was my first time competing in the NW Classic. I navigated for Frank Anderson in his 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint. We placed 15th out of 85 entrants with around 500pts in two days of Monte Carlo and TSD rallying. Without our two off-course penalties, we would’ve timed in the top 10. I posted a few pictures of the event.

A Trip To Bosnia

I visited with a friend in Bosnia and Croatia the first week of August. I initially travelled to his home city of Livno, Bosnia. We took a day trip to the war torn city of Mostar. I got to see the 293rd Alke in Sinj, Croatia. We lounged on the beach and I got to SCUBA dive in the Adriatic off the coast of Boška Voda.

1972 BMW 2002

I bought a red 1972 BMW 2002 on eBay. It’s being shipped to Chicago from Utah. I found the shipping company on uship.com - very cool. I expect to have it next week.
